Film & Video Production
We collaborate with corporations, musicians, nonprofit organizations, artists, educational institutions, mom and pop shops, and individuals, and we help all of them tell their stories persuasively, with eloquence and beauty.
As you'll see, we've worked with a variety of clients, including Bain & Company, Bright Horizons, North Shore Medical Center, Charles River Associates, Dun & Bradstreet, Habitat for Humanity, Montserrat College of Art, Tufts Health Plan, North Shore InnoVentures, and many others.
Some of these samples are short and some are long. Some had big budgets and others had a small budget. Some are fast-paced and others are very leisurely. But they were all a pleasure to work on.

I Didn't Really Know Anything About Intersex
...when I started collaborating with Megan DeFranza on a documentary about this invisible community which represents just under 2% of the population.
25 interviews later (averaging about an hour each) with intersex individuals, doctors, activists, and religious leaders, I have become a passionate advocate for this community, and convince that shining a light on their mistreatment at the hands of the larger society (mostly unwittingly) can give us all a better understanding of a myriad of issues, and the ability to have more informed discussions with each other.
In this video, Suegee, a fantastic physician, talks about a time when her awareness of the moment -- and an impulse of restraint -- made all the difference. It is a cool story.
The Birth Place
Choosing where to give birth is one of the most important decisions we make in our lifetimes. Perhaps the best people to ask for advice are parents who've had a baby in the past three months.
So that's who stars in this new spot for The Birth Place at Southern New Hampshire Health, featuring some adorable young infants. The authenticity with which these new parents praise the facilities, the staff, and especially the care they received is compelling.

Why I Love the Ocean
We are so lucky to live right next to the ocean, the awesome and primal force that forms our aesthetics, haunts our dreams, and gently floats our bodies every summer.
Of course, we tend to take it for granted. Salem Sound Coastwatch reminds us that the mighty ocean needs our help to maintain its beauty and preserve the myriad astonishing beings who call it home.
This remarkable nonprofit organization found an articulate and thoughtful person -- who has lived near the ocean for two decades -- and asked her to express her thoughts about the ocean, as a way to remind us of its worth, and our role in its continued vibrancy.

Over the past 50 years, one local church has been responsible for the formation of a host of organizations and agencies which dramatically impact the community's quality of life. Molly Pinto Madigan - Once Upon a Time
We had the pleasure of recording five songs with this gifted young artist recently. For emerging musicians, it's challenging to create videos for your website and social media which look and sound top-notch. Using the soundstage at CinemaSalem, we can quickly create four-song demos with HD resolution and crystal-clear audio.
But the star of this film is Molly and her amazing voice and writing. Critics have called her instrument "the voice of an angel", and as you watch this film, you'll likely agree.

This history of a place is hazy when it's communicated with dates and concepts. But it comes into sharp focus when you meet the people whose dilemmas and courageous choices created the community values and civic environment within which subsequent generations have found comfortable shelter.

A masterpiece can be said to be a work with the capacity to outlast its era and speak to cultures vastly different from its own; to transcend its time and place and inspire new works by artists in succeeding generations.
T. S. Eliot’s Four Quartets is such a masterpiece.
Artists Makoto Fujimura and Bruce Herman, along with composer Christopher Theofanidis and theologian Jeremy Begbie, have begun a touring exhibition and festival of theology and the arts which reveals this very thing: Eliot’s masterpiece is still able to transcend its era and social location, generating fresh response and inspiring young artists of today. Fujimura and Herman have each completed four large works in response to the imagery, emotion, and allusion evoked by Four Quartets, and have collaborated with Christopher Theofanidis in his commissioned musical score entitled “At the Still Point.” Dr. Begbie has initiated and is actively organizing a scholarly and theological colloquium at Duke University that underscores Eliot’s relevance for this new generation.
This short film captures the perspectives of the two visual artists on this breathtaking effort.
